Come find out why so many people say the evening is their favorite time to paddle on Tomales Bay. Experience the tranquility and magic of sunset snug in our kayak, where we’ll watch the day change to dusk along the shoreline of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Once dark we will glide along under the moonlight or look for the bioluminescence if there is no moon. (There is still a slight chance to see bioluminescence on these moonlit nights if the fog comes in)
Explore the beautiful shoreline between Hog Island and where the waters of Tomales Bay open up to the Pacific Ocean. This area typically has an abundance of wildlife, and an extremely low level of human infringement. This tour is 4 or 6 hours.
Drake’s Estero is one of the most stunning places to paddle on the California coast. Departing from the former Drake’s Bay Oyster Co., we’ll glide by mudflats and through the eelgrass of this wilderness estuary. You might see harbor seals, bat rays, leopard sharks, and many bird species such as osprey, geese, white pelicans, loons, grebes, shorebirds and a variety of hawks. This tour is 4 or 6 hours.
