Paddle along the Pt. Reyes shoreline, enjoying the wildlife and beautiful scenery. We’ll share a leisurely potluck lunch at one of the many beautiful Tomales Bay beaches. After lunch we will put on our hiking shoes and explore the trails of Tomales Bay State Park.
Amazing opportunities for pleasant strolls and challenging hikes are everywhere if you know where to look….and luckily we do! Blue Waters offers many different options that are all between 3-9 miles, and take you to locations that range from ridgelines with sweeping views to beautiful beaches under the bluffs.
Join one of our tours today, and let one of our friendly knowledgable guides show you the wonders of our area.
We welcome experienced and first time kayakers alike on this unique paddle. In celebration of the Giacomini Wetland Restoration Project, Blue Waters offers a one way tour through the beautiful wetlands at the south end of Tomales Bay. Your day will include a delectable wrap bar and a short hike with dramatic views.
This open space’s character is changing daily. Non-native grasses wither away under the onslaught of saltwater, while pickleweed and marsh plants take over. Ducks (sometimes thousands) dot newly created tidal ponds. Bald eagles and marsh hawks soar over egrets and herons wading in slow motion.
Come find out why so many people say the evening is their favorite time to paddle on Tomales Bay. Experience the tranquility and magic of sunset snug in our kayak, where we’ll watch the day change to dusk along the shoreline of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Once dark we will glide along under the moonlight or look for the bioluminescence if there is no moon. (There is still a slight chance to see bioluminescence on these moonlit nights if the fog comes in)
