INVERNESS SITE is on the West side of Tomales Bay:

Directions from Marin County:
From Hwy. 101 in Marin County take Sir Francis Drake Blvd. west. When it meets Hwy. 1 at Olema, turn right (north). Immediately turn left onto Bear Valley Road. Drive 2.5 miles to the stop sign and merge left back on to Sir Francis Drake Drive through the towns of Inverness Park and Inverness. The Tomales Bay Resort is 1 mile north of Inverness on your right. Go past the main entrance of the Tomales Bay Resort. The driveway entrance to Blue Waters Kayaking is on your immediate right. Please do not pull into the Tomales Bay Resort parking lot. Driving time: approx. 1 hr. from the Hwy. 101 turn-off to the Blue Waters Inverness site.

LAKE SONOMA LOCATIONS

LAKE SONOMA RESORT AREA is 12 miles from the town of Healdsburg.

100 Marina Road, Geyserville, CA 

Northbound:

Take US-101 North to Healdsburg
Take the Dry Creek Road exit, turn left onto Dry Creek Road, proceed under the freeway
Follow Dry Creek Road approximately 10.2 miles until you reach the Lake Sonoma dam, the road will take a sharp turn to the left and becomes Skaggs Springs Road.
Continue up the hill (Past Army Corps of Engineers & fish hatchary) for 1.8 miles
Turn left to stay on Skaggs Springs Road/Stewarts Point Road at the sign, continue for 0.7 miles. (If you cross the bridge, you’ve gone too far)
Turn right onto Marina Drive and continue down to the bottom of the hill to the marina
Southbound:

Take US-101 South toward Santa Rosa/San Francsico
Take the Dutcher Creek Rd/Stewarts Point exit for 0.3 miles.
Turn right at Theresa Dr for 157 feet.
Take the 1st left onto Dutcher Creek Rd for 4.1 miles
Turn right at Dry Creek Rd for 1.5 milesuntil you reach the Lake Sonoma dam, the road will take a sharp turn to the left and becomes Skaggs Springs Road.

YORTY CREEK RECREATION AREA is 4 miles from the town of Cloverdale at the end of Hot Springs Road.

From 101 in Cloverdale:Yorty Creek

~ Take the exit for South Cloverdale Blvd.
~ Turn LEFT toward South Cloverdale Blvd.
~ Turn RIGHT on South Cloverdale Blvd.
~ Turn LEFT on Treadway Drive (follow brown signs to Yorty Creek)
~ Turn RIGHT at T-Intersection (Foothill Blvd)
~ Turn LEFT on Hot Springs Rd.
~ Head out about 4 winding miles, and you’re there!

Blue Waters Kayaking is located right on the beach next to the boat ramp
